What are Cutco Service Events?
Cutco Service Events provide free on-the-spot sharpening for CUTCO clients across the nation. They are in place to provide consistent world class service to our clients at no cost. In addition, Cutco is displayed and special pricing is available at these events.
Do you sharpen serrated edges?
Yes, we offer sharpening on both straight blades and Double-Durable recessed edges. However, if the edges are worn beyond what we can sharpen there or if the edges are damaged beyond our ability to service on the spot, then we can help facilitate factory sharpening and repair.
What happens when I bring in broken items?
Your Cutco Service Professional will package your items for shipment to the factory to be replaced or fixed. The Factory Service is free, only shipping charges apply (cost varies depending on how many are being sent off).
When items are shipped to Cutco, how much does it cost?
$10 Shipping charge at the Event Return Shipping charges $9 (1-10 items) | $11 (10-25 items) | $13 (26+ items) OR $25 flat rate there & back.
How long does it take to get my Cutco back after shipping them for Factory Service?
3-4 weeks total turn-around.
How do I transport my knives to the event?
If you own a block: Keep the knives in the block and place in a grocery cloth tote bag or boxNo block: Carefully wrap knives in a thick towel, burrito style. Then place them in a bag or box.
How long are the appointments?
Appointment times depend on the amount of knives that are being serviced. Generally, they can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour. During the service your Cutco Service Professional will cover a few things. First, he/she will inspect the knives with you to see if there are any products that need factory attention, if so they will be shipped to the factory for service. Second, a quick knife care review, just to make sure you're using and caring for the knives properly, and help maximize your usage of them. Lastly, an update on the product line so we can keep a list for you, in case you need anything for yourself or gifts whether it’s during the appointment or in the future. Special packages and promotions are available during the event.
Do I have to stay or can I drop my Cutco off?
Appointments are quick and on the spot with your Cutco Representative. During the appointment they cover important information regarding your knives & updates. We recommend that you stay for the appointment so you don’t miss any valuable information. In addition, we recommend the primary user of the knives is present during the appointment.
Do you have any products at the event?
Yes, Cutco Service Events are one of the few places you can see Cutco first hand. Most, if not, all products are on display for you to browse. Everything Cutco makes will be able for purchase, and will ship to you for free within 7-10 business days. In addition, the event offers special promotional prices for attending the event.
